When someone asks EmmanuelReach AI to scan a business, they submit the address of that business’s public web page. EmmanuelReachBot fetches that page and reads what it publicly shows, such as the business name, description and contact details, to build a business profile.
- It starts from the page a user submitted. It may also fetch a small number of pages on the same site that the submitted page links to — six pages in total by default. It does not crawl a whole site.
- It does not sign in, solve CAPTCHAs, or try to get past a page that refuses it. If the submitted page answers 401 or 403, the scan stops there.
- It only fetches when a user asks for a scan.
